The prize for the best paper presentation was awarded
to Pippin Anderson (UCT) for her talk on The impact of
grazing along an environmental gradient in the
Kamiesberg.
The best student presentation prize was awarded to
Diane Southey (UCT) for her talk on Exploring weather as
a driver of large fires.
Elvis Mubamu Makady (Stellenbosch University) was
awarded the prize for the best poster presentation for
his poster on Forage preference and plant palatability
across a grazing gradient in an alluvium
fynbos-renosterveld mosaic.
The Theo Manuel Award was presented to Wilma Strydom
(Stellenbosch University and CSIR) for her presentation
on Evidence of people's awareness of and attitude
towards river conservation in the Buffalo and Hartenbos
& Klein Brak catchments.
