Restoring natural capital (RNC), agriculture potential,
socio-economic value, payment for ecosystem services, restoration impacts
Agulhas, Beaufort West and Britstown area,
Oudshoorn-Calitzdorp, Namaqua Sands
While South Africa does have a history of restoring natural capital, no
meta-analysis has been done yet to assess its ecological, hydrological, and
economic impacts across a range of contrasted sites and contexts. This study
wishes to do this and thereby to determine the tangible contributions
restoration makes.
