The study aims to reseed sandy backfilled surfaces and rock-strewn backfilled
surfaces of alluvial diamond mines in the Northern Upper Karoo, compare plant
densities and ultimately determine which surface is most suitable for native
seed establishment in the Northern Upper Karoo.
